First week of Grade One done!

Today we wrote/drew in our journals about our favourite part of Week One in Grade One and there seemed to be a resounding appreciation from the majority of the class in being able to experience not one but two recesses in Grade One! We also had our first assembly and fire drill of the year. We learned that it is very loud. Ask me about the two safety rules we have during the fire drill and why we have them. We were lucky enough to still have the time to open up three more paper bags and learn more about our wonderful classmates!

Next Friday is the VAS Fall Welcome. Come for a chance to say Hi and see the classroom and, of course, for the coffee and goodies! I look forward to meeting you at that time!
